We get so caught up in the good and praise the almighty for that good. But that changes the moment we get knocked down, the moment the tide turns when we are offended or don’t like the outcome of a decision. When we are in the lowest of the lowes we quit praising. We start questioning God.. Why me God? Why won’t you stop this chatter in my head God? God why won’t you remove this sadness and darkness around me? So we question Him and dive deeper into our self pity. We start to get lost into our own minds.. So ultimately we stop praising God. WHY?
JOB 19:25 For I know that my redeemer lives, and that he shall stand at the latter days upon the earth.
You see we need to Praise him for who he is not what he has done for us. We praise Him because he is worthy. We praise Him because he is the creator. We praise Him not because things around are good, but that he is the creator of good. Let us praise Him because of who He is, not for who we want him to be.
